It’s Day 5 already!
Morgana said you’ll be in a relationship with money until you die. You’d better make it really good.
I made changes to my relationship with money. Yet something still seemed off. After several months of doing Financial Alchemy, I experienced no increase in income. This left me perplex. I thought by know my Military Money would acknowledge my effort.
I didn’t expect a million bucks to drop out of the air but I thought I should see better results in my business. I felt for all the work, the return wasn’t worth the effort. Instead of improving it went into decline. My heart really wasn’t into it.
I kept insisting this business held the key to the wealth I desired. Perhaps I was missing something. Maybe because I didn’t get my budgeting perfect. I asked for guidance but none came.
I kept reading the Financial Alchemy book, did the workbook and listened to the CD. Maybe I’m missing something. I didn’t listen to the audios from the Home Study course yet. Maybe I need to listen to them now.

You can’t fulfill your purpose
if you can’t pay the rent.
I listen to the "Wealthy Women" interview. During the interview, Sarah told Morgana her money relationship wasn’t working anymore. Sarah still believed in the Financial Alchemy process. Sarah said if it’s not working, go back in and recreate an new Money Honey.
Wow… it never dawned on me that I could create a new Money Honey. Why not? Don’t relationships evolve or dissolve over time in real life? You as a person change. Perhaps a current relationship no longer supports your changes. Kind of what happened with my first husband, so I divorced him.
I needed my Military Honey in the beginning of doing this program. He protected me, made me feel safe so I could create a new money relationship. I also need the discipline to stay focused on cleaning up messes and breaking down the physical barriers.
I grew as a person and need a relationship with money to support my growth. I was not the same person. My current money honey expected perfection. He became to regimented. Afterall he is a military guy.
So I thanked him and sent him on his way.
Ooh La La… What A Money Honey!
The moment he left, this gorgeous, handsome, suave, sexy guy appeared. Ooh… my heart race. I definitely wanted him to stay. So I asked him what would make him happy.
His response, in this incredible French accent, "Close your business."
At first I flipped out… no no no… wrong answer. How am I going to make ends meet? How am I going to create wealth with no business?
He replied "Close your business. Trust me."
The moment I agreed, it felt like a boulder lifted from my shoulder and a sense of peace come over me. I called my best friend and told her I decided to close my business. I said I had no idea how things would work out or what I would next. I’m not going to worry about it. Everything will workout just fine."
She got excited and congratulated me on the decision. Then she said something that totally blew me out of the water… Ann you detached. That’s wonderful.
I’ve read so many success and financial books talk about detachment or letting go. Unless you detach yourself from the things you ask for, you won’t get them. It’s one of those things that’s hard to explain… let alone do. Especially for the control freak that resides in me.
I realized I kept dictating how money should show up instead of letting money come in the way God planned.
I told hubby I decided to close my business and he also expressed joy. Guess I made the right choice. He pointed out how unhappy I felt. Yes he suggested closing several years ago. I told him I wasn’t sure what I’m going to do but decided to trust the Universe. He said no problem, I would figure it out.
I finished up any obligations and in September ’09 I closed my time management business.
Antoine (my money honey’s name) said "It’s time to follow my passion and tell my story. You’ll need time to own your new money beliefs and become comfortable with your authentic self. Don’t worry, you’re needs will be met. Take your time."
I also asked for guidance on using a budget. I looked at the financial books on the bookshelf and none said read this one. Instead My money honey said next week stop at Borders after breakfast with your friend and pick up some "dream" magazines.
On my way home, I picked up several magazines including Success Magazine. The magazine was filled with several "control" articles. Like music to heart. The title "Take Control Of Your Finances" answered my budget question.
The article said "Don’t try to have the perfect budget for the perfect month because you’ll never have those." It was the same approach I took in my Thinking Outside the Clock system from my past business. Allow for life to happen in your day. Why not allow for life to happen in your budget too… made sense to me.
I decide to order Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover and workbook.
Then I get a call from my daughter and she wants to come home for Christmas. She graduate from college and was working her first job. The money showed up for airfare home and at a great discount.
My book and workbook arrive and so did a $4000 check. I’m reading the book and decided to put the steps into practice. During October 09, I decided to make the goal of keeping the account overdraft free for a year and reward myself with Dom Pérignon Champagne. Just one month of not overdrafting would pay for the bottle
Next month, I balance the account for the first time in eons!!! yeah!!! Obviously I slipped because I’m celebrating at the end of Feb 2011. I had one overdraft in January 2010.
This was just the beginning…
I didn’t rush in starting a new business… I got ideas what I would do. I left it to Universal timing. During the past year, things got clearer and clearer for me. I even outlined a book to write. My Money told me to get started. He said to just start writing articles and don’t worry about the details of the business. They will come in time.
My sexy Money Honey took very good care of us this past year… he still is taking good care. He’s a real partner.
This past year I receive an awesome gift of time… time to invest in myself. I really worked on letting go, embracing my inner Magical Essence, faith and trusting God.
Because of all the financial blessings we received this past year, we’re almost out of debt. We experience more money than month. Life’s not perfect and we do experience up’s and down. What’s different… I’m calm and at peace. I trust God to provide. So far he’s done a great job.
Worry, fear and dread no longer hang out with me. Sometime they return for a reunion. I take a deep breath and trust and they soon part.
There are still messes from the past that I’m still cleaning up. You reap what you sow.
Can’t avoid the law of sowing and reaping… one of the universal laws critical in wealth creation.
