Self Love: The Key To Happiness and Success

Self LoveThe missing key to bringing you true happiness is found in self love. Self love is the requirement to building your success foundation.

Many of our goals and pursuits in life focus on finding happiness and success outside of ourselves. If you just get that raise…just loose those 10lbs…just move to another city…just acquire that car…you’ll be happy.

Happiness comes from within. Nothing wrong with getting a raise, losing weight, living your dream city or driving your dream car. They don’t produce lasting happiness.

Seeing the good in yourself, your inner greatness…your Magical Essence starts with loving yourself. When you love yourself, you see the good all around you. You enjoy the results of your achievements.

Positive affirmations provide a great way to begin a wonderful love affair with yourself.

Turning Passions and Goals into Reality

Turning your passions into reality requires you to do many things to make your passion really happen. These six things can assist you make it happen.

Believe

The most important thing to success comes down to self belief. Believe in yourself and you God-given abilities. You come into this world with the talents, gifts and abilities to make your passions a reality. Self belief is not about impressing others. In fact, you can still believe and pursue your passion without telling anyone. Believe and you feel empowered about the success of your endeavor.

Attitude

Your attitude will make you or break you. You need to maintain a complete positive attitude. Stay positive at all times. Don’t let the little things get you down or upset you.  You live your passion while seeing every obstacle as a learning experience.  You need to keep a positive outlook on everything you do with your business and your passion. 

A good attitude will help you experience more success in all areas of your life. Thing will begin to work in your favor more often when you maintain a positive attitude and outlook. It all comes down to the way you look at a situation and how you respond. A positive attitude makes a big difference .

Polish Your Idea

It can take time to implement your idea. You may need to do some prepping. Perhaps you need to layout a plan. What details will you need to consider? Stay flexible and let inspired action guide you.

Take Inspired Action

Your intention, not the action creates the desire in your passion.

You create first with thought. It is the thought of your desire, the focus of positive energy toward it that will build the conduit to your desire.

We often attempt to force the outcome. We want to move things along a little quicker, we get impatient, we want results right now. Forcing the outcome pushes away your desire.

Action based in fear move you away from your goal. Fear comes from the lack of belief and trust. Fear based action draw upon the negative and therefore will create negative energy around it.

Taking inspired action feels free flowing, like you could do it all day. It should feel effortless because of the excitement and passion about moving toward your goal.

You can reduce the need for action to a very minimum. Allow yourself to focus on what you desire until you feel the positive energy begin to move within you.

 Focus on your intent and do not take action until you feel positive emotion within you. In that moment you will know what to do. When you take action it will be the right thing at the right time.

Organize Your Life

Organize your life around your passion. Organize your time to participate in healthy activities like exercise. Make sure you get plenty of sleep too. Clean out the clutter by getting rid of unnecessary stuff and find "places" for what you keep. Whatever electronics or paper system you use, make it work for YOU not the other way around. Organizing tasks around the things you find passionate, will make you more successful and productive.

Visualize and Meditate

Don’t underestimate the importance of visualizing if you want your passion a reality. Meditation and visualization help you to see and experience the outcome of going after your passion. Visualize your idea with feelings to bring it into manifestation.  Meditation allows your ideas to manifest inside of you so you will make it happen. 

Start living the successful day that you have always dreamed of through visualization. For example, see yourself waking up at your ideal time, brew coffee, read the paper, talk on your blog etc.

Self Esteem | Accurate Self Concept Assessment – Step Five

You can arm yourself against your inner critic using your Magical Essence Declaration you created in step 4

It’s important for you to keep remembering your strengths. That’s why you don’t want to dismiss reading your self description twice a day.

Your inner critic won’t give up easy, so today I’ll give you some additional strategies to let him know you will not buy into his lies anymore.

1. Your Strength Affirmations
Take your strength statements and turn them into affirmations. In addition to reading your new accurate self description, read your affirmations daily

2. Daily Affirmations
Write a new affirmation each morning. Focus on it and repeat it through out the day.

3. Reminder Signs
Write your affirmations on 6 x 9 index cards or large post it notes. Tape and/or post your affirmations throughout the house.

Write them on smaller 3 x 5 index cards and place them in your purse, briefcase, car, jacket pocket, office desk drawer… etc.

4. Bathroom Mirror
I used a dry marker and wrote a new affirmation each day on the bathroom mirror.  You can also reinforce the affirmation by looking into your eyes and recite it out loud.

5. Snap It
My critical judgmental voice did not want to shut up. My therapist suggested wear a rubber band on my wrist. Every time my critic kept exaggerating and using negative generalizations, I snapped the rubber band. Very effective.

The 5 laws of habits for successful life

Everybody in this world, in the past, in the now and in the future, will always remain completely and totally 100% ruled and influenced by their existing set of habits.

Life is about habits. The only difference between successful and unsuccessful people is the quality of their habits. Unsuccessful people own unsuccessful habits.

Thoughts lead on to purposes; purposes go forth in action; actions form habits; habits decide character; and character fixes our destiny.~Tyron Edwards

Bad habits form more easily, but extremely hard to end. Good habits, on the other hand, tend to take more time to make. Scientist agree the average person needs at least 3 weeks to form a good habit.

Habits Change The Outcome Of Your Life

Changing habits does not change the person. You remain your true unique self. New habits will give you radically different results and improve your performance. You will experience dramatically and completely out of the ordinary life.

If you don’t like direction of the current path of your life, you can make a course correction through habits.

Understanding The Laws Of Habit To Simplify Change

Habit Law #1
You remain 100% strictly controlled by your current set of habits. You cannot get anymore disciplined to them. That’s because of Habit Law #2

Habit Law #2
All habits in your life feel natural at the time you possess them. Both good and bad habits feel natural and herein lies the problem. It feels unnatural when you start to change a habit. Your subconscious keeps pulling you back to your established habit.

Habit Law #3
Fortunately, it only takes a short time period of time for your new habit to form. Scientific research says it takes approximately 21 days to establish a new habit. After 21 days, it feels like your new habit belongs to you, it starts to feel natural.

Habit Law #4
Now the hard part of changing your habits. It’s not really hard, but human nature like to complicates things and go to extremes. People get in trouble when they decide to change their lives because they want to change all of their habits at once.

The problem arises because you can only change ONE habit at a time! Your mind can only handle one single habit every 21 days. Your new habit gets engrained in your subconscious by following another law of nature… the law of repetition.

Here is the good news… often changing one habit, several ther habits will change automatically with it.

You really don’t need to change all your habits. Just pick some pivotal habits and change those and a lot of other things will change.

Habit Law #5
Success in life results from goal directed habits. Get a clear goal in mind and use that goal to direct your habit changes for the rest of your life.

Action Creates New Habits – Habits Determine Your Destiny

Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. ~Unknown

Did you know over 3 years you receive 52 gifts of 21 day periods? You can change 52 pivotal habits in your life over a 3 year period.  Can you imagine the spectacular and dramatic results?  All by focusing on changing a single habit every 21 days.

Realistically, some habits may take a little longer, perhaps 30 days instead of 21 days… You still would create 36 life changing habits. You would still experience spectacular and dramatic results in you life.

4 Actions Steps Toward Spectacular Results

1. Make a list of the habits you want to change.

2. Pick ONE pivotal habit from your list.  Write out how the desired outcome will feel. I recommend putting the end result on an index card or post it note etc.

3. Focus all your attention this new habit. Create and design a daily and/or weekly routine to incorporate your new habit in your life. Remember, the new habit you create will  force you to often make very challenging changes. It will feel unnatural at first… don’t beat yourself up in the process.

Review your end result and reflect on how it will feel when accomplished.

4. Repeat The Process: Once you create your new habit, select the next habit from your list you want to create. Before you know it,you will have developed 12 – 17 new habits in one year! Imagine you will create a whole new life full of success… one habit at a time.

Mind Power Secrets | The Law of Repetition

Have you heard the old saying, "a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth?" This happens because repetition is the secret to developing a powerful belief.

And the more powerful your belief, the more powerful your results will be… negative or positive.

All changes in your beliefs, especially limiting beliefs, take place upon the application of the law of repetition.

The Law Of Repetition and How Your Minds Works

How often do you tell yourself and try to convince yourself that you can accept change? Only later to find youself readily get stuck in past memories, frameworks, and schemas?

Until you make the changes at the subconscious level, those changes will not stay in place. Your deep subconscious is the very place where change happens. You’ll find a full article on the here: Power of Your Subconscious Mind

When you have a better understanding of the brain’s inner workings, the subconscious, you stand a better chance to develop a skill set or change a belief system that can enable you to make lasting changes in your brain.

Like a person finding a well worn path through a meadow, each thought, feeling, and behavior is associated with a path through your brain.

Would you choose to take the established path or would plow through the field to create a new one? Most people would choose the path already there… it’s much easier and less work. 

Your brain does the same thing. It is more likely to engage in familiar patterns rather than try new ones. The flow of energy through the brain tends to go through established paths and circuits, which is partly makes our minds appear stable and predictable.

Throughout your life, your brain will always find it easier – but not unavoidable – to go back to these earliest patterns of operating in the world.

Your experiences shape how your brain will grow. Therefore, any plan you want to follow to be happier, successful and more fulfilling, must also address the pathways in your brain in order to have lasting success.

How To Rewire Your Brain For Lasting Success

Repetition will input habits in the nerve cells in you brain, This consequently governs your thoughts and behavior. That well-worn path in the meadow happened by people repeatedly walking it.

The reason why repetition on positive thoughts is so powerful, and necessary, is that we live in a world where thoughts and images of lack and limitation are everywhere.

It requires discipline of repetition to change your deepest thoughts and beliefs about the nature of the world — and that is exactly what you must do in order to change your limiting beliefs that hold your back.

Repetition can be a powerful tool for learning and acquiring skill sets too. There is a kind of strength achieved through the power of repeating oneself. Repetition, repetition, repetition. It works. It works. It works.

Daily Repetition Can Develop A New Habit To Change Paradigms.

A paradigm is our perception of reality, our view of the world. It is our interpretation of events based on previous teaching we have received. Those teaching and experiences shape your belief system.

Paradigms controls your lives. Think of paradigms as a multitude of habits.  Those habits formed through repetition.

We can ultimately break down old paradigms holding you back through a desire to change.

One Tiny Step Repeated Result In Big Changes

The key is to change these habits of limiting beliefs one at a time to allow the flow of what you want to enter your life.

Consistency is very important in using the Law of Repetition. Changes will happen through daily increases of awareness, time and patience.

Repeating a set of effective affirmations three times each day will begin to create a new path in your brain. Just pick one belief… one habit you want for a new path.

Habits are made and broken in a span of 21 to 30 days as a rule. Repetition for that length of time can greatly increase the odds of making permanent change

Remember that your paradigms can be changed and you can do it a little bit each day through repetition.
