Mind Power Secrets | The Law of Repetition

By Ann Rusnak Leave a Comment
Path Of Repetition

Have you heard the old saying, "a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth?" This happens because repetition is the secret to developing a powerful belief.

And the more powerful your belief, the more powerful your results will be… negative or positive.

All changes in your beliefs, especially limiting beliefs, take place upon the application of the law of repetition.

The Law Of Repetition and How Your Minds Works

How often do you tell yourself and try to convince yourself that you can accept change? Only later to find youself readily get stuck in past memories, frameworks, and schemas?

Until you make the changes at the subconscious level, those changes will not stay in place. Your deep subconscious is the very place where change happens. You’ll find a full article on the here: Power of Your Subconscious Mind

When you have a better understanding of the brain’s inner workings, the subconscious, you stand a better chance to develop a skill set or change a belief system that can enable you to make lasting changes in your brain.

Like a person finding a well worn path through a meadow, each thought, feeling, and behavior is associated with a path through your brain.

Would you choose to take the established path or would plow through the field to create a new one? Most people would choose the path already there… it’s much easier and less work.

Your brain does the same thing. It is more likely to engage in familiar patterns rather than try new ones. The flow of energy through the brain tends to go through established paths and circuits, which is partly makes our minds appear stable and predictable.

Throughout your life, your brain will always find it easier – but not unavoidable – to go back to these earliest patterns of operating in the world.

Your experiences shape how your brain will grow. Therefore, any plan you want to follow to be happier, successful and more fulfilling, must also address the pathways in your brain in order to have lasting success.

How To Rewire Your Brain For Lasting Success

Repetition will input habits in the nerve cells in you brain, This consequently governs your thoughts and behavior. That well-worn path in the meadow happened by people repeatedly walking it.

The reason why repetition on positive thoughts is so powerful, and necessary, is that we live in a world where thoughts and images of lack and limitation are everywhere.

It requires discipline of repetition to change your deepest thoughts and beliefs about the nature of the world — and that is exactly what you must do in order to change your limiting beliefs that hold your back.

Repetition can be a powerful tool for learning and acquiring skill sets too. There is a kind of strength achieved through the power of repeating oneself. Repetition, repetition, repetition. It works. It works. It works.

Daily Repetition Can Develop A New Habit To Change Paradigms.

A paradigm is our perception of reality, our view of the world. It is our interpretation of events based on previous teaching we have received. Those teaching and experiences shape your belief system.

Paradigms controls your lives. Think of paradigms as a multitude of habits.  Those habits formed through repetition.

We can ultimately break down old paradigms holding you back through a desire to change.

One Tiny Step Repeated Result In Big Changes

The key is to change these habits of limiting beliefs one at a time to allow the flow of what you want to enter your life.

Consistency is very important in using the Law of Repetition. Changes will happen through daily increases of awareness, time and patience.

Repeating a set of effective affirmations three times each day will begin to create a new path in your brain. Just pick one belief… one habit you want for a new path.

Habits are made and broken in a span of 21 to 30 days as a rule. Repetition for that length of time can greatly increase the odds of making permanent change

Remember that your paradigms can be changed and you can do it a little bit each day through repetition.

Empower your thoughts and increase your self esteem and confidence by downloading and watching the FREE Self Empowerment Affirmation Video daily.

Inspirational Video: Declare Your Independence from Limiting Beliefs

By Ann Rusnak 1 Comment
Declaration of Independence

July 4th celebrates the day the United States of America declared it’s independence from Great Britain.

The thirteen colonies pretty much had it with King George’s levying a series of unfair taxes, hiring German mercenaries against them, along with other oppressive rulings.

On July 4 1776, they wrote a document declaring their God given rights and listed list the charges against King George III, to demonstrate how he violated the colonies rights and was no longer fit to rule them.

In what would perceived as an act of treason, they signed their names to the document that became known as the Declaration of Independence.

You can think of your limiting beliefs as a tyrannical king in your life. Violating your rights to enjoy a vital fulfilling life God intended for you.

Your limiting beliefs hold back and suppress your true potential. You’re not alone, we all possess some limiting beliefs about ourselves.

This month in the spirit of independent, join me in rewriting your history and declaring your independence against limiting and false beliefs.

Through out the month, I’ll share ideas, stories, strategies and different methods to help you eliminate the beliefs that keep your inner Magical Essence hidden. (receive notices when new information is added)

Begin your declaration by watching this month’s video.

I’ll see you tomorrow when we begin working on your "official" declaration document.

7 Truths to Creating Effective Affirmations That Work – Part Two

By Ann Rusnak Leave a Comment
Using Affirmations

Yesterday I mentioned seven truths around how the mind works using affirmations. With the first three, I shared the biggest obstacle to why affirmations fail and gave a strategy to make your affirmations effective.

Today, let explore the four remaining truths and really get into releasing the power of your subconscious in using affirmations.

These remaining four truths create more powerful and faster acting affirmations

Truth #4 – Your subconscious mind can’t tell the difference between reality and imagination.

There is no future or past in your subconscious mind. Even if your subconscious mind replays something, it believes it’s happening all over again in the present. The subconscious only know the present.

With this in mind, you want to make sure your affirmation is something you really really want. You want to make it very specific and always state it in the present tense.

I’m going to continue to use yesterday’s affirmation, "I choose to earn $500,00."
For example purposes, this is something you really want.

Make it specific….
Instead of saying "I choose to earn $500,00", you say "I choose to make more money."

The word "more" isn’t specific. What does "more" mean? While the word more may seem believable and would eliminate the inner conflict obstacle, it indirectly calls your attention to a negative situation.

By asking for more money, implies you don’t have enough. Your subconscious draws attention to the very thing you want eliminate… not enough money. This defeats the whole purpose of the affirmation.

State it in the present tense…
"I choose to earn $500,00 this year."

Truth #5 – Your subconscious mind responds to three things: Verbalization, feelings & emotions (the most powerful) and visualization.

Verbalize your affirmation…
What you say to yourself determines everything you do. Keep your affirmations positive.
Avoid negative affirmations like I never have enough money or I never earn enough money. Vigilantly monitor your self-talk or you’ll cancel out your positive affirmations by creating confusing in your subconscious.

Add feeling and emotion…
Your subconscious thrives on feelings and emotion. You’ll turn the power up on your affirmations when you include emotion in your statements.

"I choose to easily, constantly and enjoyably earn $500,00 this year by adding value to peoples lives."

Visualize your end result…
Remember Truth #4? Use your imagination and picture and experience in your mind the end result while saying your affirmation.

If you read your affirmations, picture the end result and feel the emotions of what you are picturing, you can expect a 100% success rate.

Truth #6 – The subconscious mind learns by repetition not logic.

This is why verbalizing your affirmation once or inconsistently doesn’t work. You need to consistently say your affirmation over and over. The repetition repatterns your thoughts.

Psychological studies show saying your affirmation out loud and/or with music increases the impressing of the information on your subconscious 85% faster.

Start your day off with your affirmations and right before your go to bed at night.

The more the repetition the better. I like using The Think Right Now software program on my computer. It briefly flashes, on your computer screen, visible statements of affirmations.

You can use their’s or your own affirmations with or without music.

Truth #7 – Your subconscious will achieve anything you believe to be true for you.

Affirmations work through your subconscious. So you need to keep them personal by using "I" in your statements.

Persistent repetition of your affirmations, especially creating around the seven truths, conditions your mind to see things differently.

Affirmations eventually install themselves as consistent dominate thoughts…
dominate thoughts control your behaviors… your behaviors become habits… your habits create your reality.

Dr. Robert Anthony created a simple formula to help you remember when creating effective positive affirmations.

Affirmations + Imagery + Emotion = Success

We’ll wrap tomorrow with something called an "Affirmation Insurance Policy" and how to use to it to insure best results.

7 Truths to Creating  Effective Affirmations That Work – Part One

By Ann Rusnak 4 Comments
Affirmations

Do affirmations really work? Maybe you just think they are useless and never tried them. Perhaps you thought about trying them but never heard of anybody seeing results or  you tried them but they didn’t deliver on their promise. Maybe you fall into the fourth category; You tried them and the results were so sporadic and rare that you felt they weren’t worth the time doing.

Personally, I fell into the fourth category. Since some affirmations worked occasionally, I wondered what was different on those occasions for them to produce the desired results.

So I did some research. My ineffective affirmations resulted from leaving out critical pieces of information. The problem is creating affirmation around the way your mind works.

During this research, I discovered seven truths around how the mind works using affirmations. When generating an affirmation around these seven truths, you’ll experience the desired outcome.

Interestingly, it didn’t matter if the affirmation was positive or negative.

Daily affirmations are one of the most effective and easiest actions you can take for your subconscious to release your inner success. Let’s look at these seven truths and how you can utilize to create powerful effective affirmations.

Truth #1 -  Your subconscious mind is more powerful than your conscious mind.

Scientific research shows that the subconscious mind is not only way faster, it is over a million times more powerful than the conscious mind.

Your subconscious mind works for your benefit 24 hours a day, seven days a week—literally 100% of the time. Read more about how your subconscious mind works.

Truth #2 -  Subconsciously we only believe what the conscious mind accepts as real.

This is the barrier that stops affirmations from working. Affirmations won’t work when an inner conflict arises between the conscious and subconscious mind.

Truth #3 -  Your conscious mind chooses what it believes to be true and your subconscious mind accepts without question whatever the conscious mind dictates.

To get to the subconscious level for your affirmations to work, they need to be believable. Unfortunately, the conscious mind doesn’t believe the affirmation, it won’t accept it as real.

Basically you’re lying to yourself, not intentionally, your conscious mind recognizes your not stating the truth. Until your conscious mind accepts the affirmation as truth, it will not become part of the subconscious mind.

I want you to say the following affirmation out loud:

"I earn $500,00"

You made this your goal. You "truly" want this to happen. When you said it out loud what happened?

Did you feel some resistance to the statement? Did it feel truthful? Did you start arguing with yourself about "how" you would accomplish this? Did you hear your self-talk echo back these words "Who are you kidding?"

You won’t achieve the result of your affirmation while an inner conflict exists between the conscious and subconscious mind. You’ll need to neutralize the conflicting self talk.

The best way I learned to counter this resistance is to use the word "choose" in the affirmation.

Let’s try this again expect, you’ll use the word choose in the affirmation statement. Yeah… you need to say it out loud.

"I choose to earn $500,00"

Did you notice a difference between these statements when you say them to yourself? Did it feel more convincing?

By including "I choose" in your affirmation, you’re using a very effective and successful strategy to offers no resistance for acceptability.

Tomorrow I’ll share the rest of the truths to make your affirmations more powerful and fast acting.

In the meantime, pick three of your affirmations or create three using the "I choose" strategy.

[Money Mindset Challenge] Day 16 – Picture Yourself With Money

By Ann Rusnak 3 Comments
Imagination Einstein

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world.” Albert Einstein

The power of imagination is one of the greatest forces in the universe.

The ability to form mental images comes form imagination. Imagination helps provide meaning to your experiences and understanding to knowledge. People make sense of the world through imagination.

Dr. Robert Anthony says "The most dynamic aspect of imagination is the act of forming mental images of what does not yet exist in the physical world."

Go back and read that sentence again… put it on an index card, post note… any where you can see and read it.

You might want to refresh your memory about the subconscious mind and read Day 7 again.

You’ll notice I mention "The subconscious mind does not differentiate between visualizations and real situations."

Your subconscious mind cannot… I repeat… cannot distinguish the difference between an actual experience and what is vividly imagine. This is where your emotions and creativity reside.

See Yourself With Money

Imagination - Thoreau

Start picturing yourself with the money you desire. See yourself with the things money will buy for you. What do you really want? Visualize yourself having, doing, and being the things you want.

It’s important put yourself into the picture.  See the details – colors, places, smells and people. The more vivid the better.

If you change the picture, the change in your behavior and performance follows automatically. You’ll act and behave like what you visualized in your imagination. Once it takes hold in your subconscious, you won’t need to affirm or visualize it any more.

The Visualization Formula

Affirmations + Imagery + Emotion = Success

Verbalizing – Affirmations: Words can build or destroy your life.  Watch your thoughts. What you say to yourself determines practically everything you do.

Visualization – Imagery: Your subconscious responds to the pictures and images you hold on your mental screen.  You have the power to mentally create a new life for yourself

Emotion – Feeling: No creative act can perform without emotion. Your subconscious responds to your feelings and emotions more than anything else.

Imprinting Your New Money Vision

Imprinting happens when your subconscious mind accepts your new visual image of your desired end result.

Step One – Your Goal

Your subconscious only understands specific commands.  Since you’re going through the money mind set challenge, I guess you want more money in your life. (secretly who doesn’t)

Get specific on the amount.  Personally, for me, the amount usually isn’t the goal. I usually pick something I want to use the money for. Ask your money honey what you should ask for… let your money honey guide.

Step Two – Affirming the End Result of Your Goal

Write out a simple statement to the end result you want. Write it out in a personal, positive, present tense form as though it were already reality.  Writing out your affirmation triggers your brain’s reticular activating system. Read this article for more information on the  reticular activating system.

Review Day 12 on writing affirmations your conscious and subconscious will believe

Step Three – Picture the End Result

See yourself in your mind activity involved in the achievement of your end result.  The more detail the better.  You’re displaying your old picture with a new one.

Step Four – Feel the Emotion That Goes With Your Accomplishment

Your subconscious responds to feelings more than words. Think of feelings and emotions like super food feeding your subconscious.

The more feeling and emotion… the faster the end result will materialize. Feel the joy and satisfaction of the accomplishment. You can even add the words, happy, joyful etc. to your written affirmation.

Step Five – Willing to Accept

You will never allow yourself to possess more money than you think you deserve. Make sure you willing accept what you ask for.  Start accepting the fact you deserve wealth.

Don’t fall into the "HOW" mindset. This will stop the process. Following this process takes a lot of trust and faith.  God takes care of the how. Learn to trust your intuition… your inner voice… your money honey.
