You can Heal from moderate physical abuse, but Healing from the emotional abuse takes years....remember, emotional abuse wounds your very Soul and will effect every relationship you have...first and foremost with yourself.  And if &quot;we&quot; are not emotionally well, how can we express healthy emotions...especially to our children?  It wasn&#039;t until I was 40 that I healed emotionally so my children had to experience my personal &quot;neediness&quot; during the healing process.  While I wasn&#039;t &quot;abusive&quot;, I was &quot;abusive&quot; in that my children deserved far better parenting.  Emotional abuse is VERY major and FAR reaching, and DEEP.]]></description>
