July 4th celebrates the day the United States of America declared its independence from Great Britain.
The thirteen colonies pretty much had it with King George’s levying a series of unfair taxes, hiring German mercenaries against them, along with other oppressive rulings.
On July 4, 1776, they wrote a document declaring their God given rights and listed list the charges against King George III, to demonstrate how he violated the colonies rights and was no longer fit to rule them.
In what would be perceived as an act of treason, they signed their names to the document that became known as the Declaration of Independence.
You can think of your limiting beliefs as a tyrannical king in your life. Violating your rights to enjoy a vital fulfilling life God intended for you.
Your limiting beliefs hold back and suppress your true potential. You’re not alone, we all possess some limiting beliefs about ourselves.
You have the capacity to be extraordinary, to live your passion, to realize your full potential.
What determines the life you experience is how you see, feel and think about yourself.
You are made in the image of the creator of the universe (I like to use God… use whatever make you feel comfortable.) You were placed on the world to play BIG.
You have God-given abilities to achieve what you desire and imagine.
What holds you back are limiting beliefs running through your minds.
You have God-given abilities to achieve what you desire and imagine. What holds you back are limiting beliefs running through your minds. Here is a fun way to turn those limiting beliefs around
Create your own Declaration of Independence or Declaration of Empowerment from limiting beliefs.
When you do you can start your own personal revolution for the life you truly desire and deserve.
Putting Your Empowerment Declaration Together
Grab a piece of paper and write down 3 or 4 limiting beliefs keeping you from achieving your desired results.
Maybe you see yourself as worthless or not deserving your dreams, you may want to include something like this in your Declaration of Empowerment:
I (your name) choose to see my worth. I am worthy of seeing myself as a wonderful person, a great person who experiences life to the fullest. I see my self-worth in my work. I express this in the way I carry myself, in my posture, my tone and the way I talk and write.
Your Declaration of Empowerment is a statement you decide to believe about yourself and your life.
Here’s another example
I, (your name), feel great and energized. I feel alive bursting with confidence and excitement. I feel great joy and at peace with myself. I’m so happy and grateful for all I have.
I am the center of my universe! I have the power to create whatever I wish. My own God-given success in the form of rich ideas and rich results now appears.”
Your Empowering declaration is for your eyes only!
Read it in the morning when you wake up and right before you go to bed.
I also found writing out my declaration once a day for 30 days made the new beliefs shift faster in my mind.
